MEANING OF LYRICS
Verse 1 –
Goddess Ambe is the divine mother who is worshipped day and night by the three main gods — Brahma (creator), Vishnu (protector), and Shiva (destroyer). This shows that she is above all and respected by everyone, even the most powerful gods.
Verse 2 –
This verse describes her beautiful appearance. She wears vermilion (sindoor), a special mark made of musk (kasturi), and her eyes are bright and full of kindness. Her face shines like the moon, calm and full of peace.
Verse 3 –
The goddess’s body is golden and glowing, and she wears a red saree, symbolizing power and energy. She also wears a garland of red flowers, showing her strength and divine beauty.
Verse 4 –
She rides a lion, showing her bravery. She holds a sword and a skull bowl, symbols of protection and destruction of evil. Gods, sages, and people all worship her because she removes their problems and pains.
Verse 5 –
Her earrings and nose ring shine, and her light is so powerful it’s brighter than millions of suns and moons. This means her presence brings light, happiness, and removes darkness from our lives.
Verse 6 –
She killed many demons, like Shumbh, Nishumbh, and Mahishasura, who were spreading evil in the world. Her eyes become fierce when needed, showing that she protects good and destroys evil.
Verse 7 –
She also defeated demons like Chand, Mund, Raktabeej, Madhu, and Kaitabh. These demons were very dangerous, but the goddess destroyed them all and made the gods feel safe again.
Verse 8 –
The goddess is also known as Brahmani, Rudrani, and Lakshmi. She is the wife of Lord Shiva and is praised in all holy books. She is the source of all powers and forms of other goddesses.
Verse 9 –
64 yoginis (female saints) sing songs for her, Bhairav dances, and holy instruments like drums and damaru are played. This shows that everyone celebrates her power and joy in the divine world.
Verse 10 –
She is the mother of the whole world. She listens to her children (devotees), removes their sadness, and blesses them with happiness and wealth.
Verse 11 –
She has four arms and shows the hand of blessings to give what her devotees wish for. Men and women who worship her receive peace and success.
Verse 12 –
A beautiful golden plate with camphor and incense is offered to her during Aarti. Her temple shines like a palace made of jewels, full of divine energy and peace.
Verse 13 –
If anyone sings this Aarti with true devotion, they will receive joy, wealth, and blessings from the goddess. This was said by the saint Shivanand Swami, who had deep faith in her.
