On Shiva’s head flows the Ganga, and by his side is his consort Parvati (Ardhanga).
He eternally resides in Mount Kailash.

Yakshas, Rakshasas, and Bhairavas sway and sing in the forests near Kailash.

Kalpadruma Aru Parijata Taru, Laga Rahe Hain Laksha Si।
Kamadhenu Kotina Jaham Dolata, Karata Dugdha Ki Varsha-Si॥

Wish-fulfilling trees like Kalpavriksha and Parijat grow in abundance.
Countless Kamadhenu cows roam about, raining milk like divine nectar.

Suryakanta Sama Parvata Shobhita, Chandrakanta Sama Himarashi।

The mountains shine like sun-crystals, and the snow sparkles like moon-crystals.

Rishi Muni Deva Danuja Nita Sevata, Gana Karata Shruti Gunarashi।
Brahma-Vishnu Niharata Nisidina, Kachhu Shiva Hamakun Pharamasi॥

Sages, gods, and demons all constantly serve Shiva.
His followers sing verses of the Vedas and sacred texts.
Even Brahma and Vishnu behold him day and night—
Yet, O Shiva, why do you forget a devotee like me?
